Recently named Women's Tennis Association (WTA) chair Valerie Camillo is familiar with long hours from past positions - including one in a strategic role of the entertainment company managing American iconic singer Dolly Parton's theme parks.

In addition to her contributions regarding Parton's business interests, Camillo arrives at the leadership of women's tennis bringing extensive background in sports and media, having held strategic positions at the world's premier basketball league, major league hockey and America's pastime.

Camillo commences her tenure at the WTA next month, taking over from the outgoing Steve Simon, after his lengthy leadership wraps up as he steps down.
